John Gumeiny

John Gumeiny

The Winnipeg police have Gumeiny's mug posted on their website as a suspect in a rape. They don't know where he is. We are pretty sure this is the same John Gumeiny who sold his perjured testimony to the RCMP to help convict Jim Driskell in the murder of Perry Harder. He was a convicted rapist at that time and we don't know how much he was paid.

Zanidean's perjured testimony against Jim Driskell was purchased by the mounties for at least $80K plus an agreement that he would walk from an arson charge. His testimony along with perjury from a protected rapist and a hair which a phony RCMP expert testified was Driskell's (this was later shown to be junk science) persuaded a jury to convict him of murdering Perry Harder.

CBC's Disclosure tracked him down in 2003. The ten minute piece is posted on the Disclosure website. Definitely worth taking a look.

Larry Fisher was protected and hidden by RCMP while the Saskatoon police and RCMP pinned a false murder charge on David Milgaard.

He was responsible for at least one death among the young druggies he was contracted to infiltrate in Barrie, Ontario. He was given a new cover and relocated to Fredericton, N.B. Gary Dimmock's story was the basis for a Fifth Estate program.

The Crown was chastised for using such a witness but we have to ask if it even slowed them down, never mind stop them.

Terry Arnold

Judges have for some time frowned on jailhouse informants who are notoriously unreliable and have been responsible for putting many innocent people in jail.

Street snitches are seen as somewhat more reliable by the court. Especially if they are dressed up and presented as citizens rather than the agents that they really are.

When snitches who are also rapists, murderers, child molesters and child killers get out of hand they cause trouble for the police agencies they work for. This leads to the kind of cover-up we have seen with Terry Arnold.
